The Pew Internet and American Life Project has released a study called “Social Networking Sites and Our Lives” based on data collected late in 2010 about social networking sites and their impact in a variety of areas. Normally, I would be cautious of data collected over 6 months ago but after looking over the report it seems that the Internet cycle of “news today and ancient news tomorrow” doesn’t apply as much in this case as usual. In fact, I highly recommend you look it over.
