Understanding why people participate and share via social networking is a hot subject in academic circles for some time.  There's a significant large literature stream devoted towards the subject – later within the blog we consider a recent study by Harvard College.  I’ve also frequently requested my students why they publish the things they're doing on social networking.  It has frequently been met after some hostility and often bemusement – apparently it isn't just me that does not publish

Feeling frustrated today about a lack of ideas to write about on your blog? If so, you’re not alone. Here’s another technique that I use to overcome it. A couple of weeks ago I wrote a post here on ProBlogger that gave a tip for fighting blogger’s block. It asked you to identify a problem that you had three years ago and to write a post that solved that problem for your readers.
