It’s been awhile since I’ve read it, but this guy was digging for diamonds. He did this for a long time. One day, the shiny object syndrome hit him and he decided he should go look elsewhere. He did, but he never made a fortune. However, a fortune was made on the property that he left behind. He gave up too soon.
